Machined frame plates were separated.

バーナーで炙って仮止めのハンダを剥がし二枚に分ける。

I found the frame plate were warped when assembling them on the glass surface plate and rectified them. It should be done before machining.

ガラス定盤の上でフレームを組んでみたら、歪んでいた。フレーム板が捩れていたので修正。よじれの修正は加工前に行うべきであった。

The flatness was checked on the glass surface plate.

Assembled on the surface plate. This time it was assembled without twisting.

ガラス定盤の上で組立。ほぼ歪みなく組めた。

I added pilots on both ends. Pilots of prototypes are usually made from angle, but they must be robust enough to protect suspension springs and drain valves. So I made them from 5X5mm solid brass rods.

フレームjの前後に排障器を追加。実物だとアングルで出来てるんだろうが、脱線時にサスペンション、ドレインバルブを保護しなければならないので5X5mmの真鍮角材で頑丈に作る。
