I made a cap of water inlet. At first drilled with 12mm drill and cleaned the bottom right angle with 16mm slot drill.

給水口の蓋を作る。まずΦ12のドリルで穴を掘り、Φ16のエンドミルで底を平らにさらう。

Parted off.

外周を仕上げて突っ切ればこんなものができる。

突っ切り面をきれいにする。

A handle from 1.2mm brass wire attached. The centre of the handle is bit out.

Φ1.2の真鍮線の取手をつければ完成。イカン。ちょっと中心がずれたっぽい。

The cap attached to the tender. Out of centre of the handle is not visible. I decided not to care about this.

炭水車に取り付けてみる。取手のセンターずれはほとんど気にならない。このまま行く。

End beams were cut out from t2 mild steel sheet. Circumferences were cleaned by mill, but notches on both sides of rear end beam were hacksaw and filed.

前後の端梁をｔ２の軟鋼板から作る。外周はスライスで仕上げたが、後梁の切れ込みは金ノコ+ヤスリ。

Mostly finished tender.

ほぼ完成した炭水車。
