I tested the burner with 0.18mm jet. At the first attempt it worked quite well.

とりあえず0.18mmのジェットを取り付けバーナー燃焼テストを行いました。おー、良く燃えるではないか。

I tried smaller jets, but the flame flew away and did nut burn at all. I returned to 0.18mm jet and still it did not work. Why? Flame flying away meant too much air. So I made an air adjusting ring.

上から見るとこんな感じ。

次にもっと小さい径のジェットをつけてみると炎が飛んでしまって全くダメ。元の0.18mmに戻してもやはり炎が飛んでしまう。なんでだ？炎がとぶと言うことは空気量が多すぎるはずなので調整リングを作ることにします。

I made holes on 10mm thin brass tube on both sides.

10mmの薄肉真鍮パイプに穴を開け（両側）。

The tube was parted off.

突っ切り。

The ring was fixed to the insert by its burs.

バリでうまい具合にインサートに固定されている。

A slot was cut by slotting saw.

これにすり割りフライスで切れ目を入れれば出来上がり。

By adjusting air the burner worked nicely.

空気調整後、きれいに燃焼するようになりました。
