I made end beams. The material was cleaned up at first.

端梁を作ります。まずは材料をフライスできれいにします。

Necessary holes were drilled and rough cuts for round part of the front beam were made.

穴あけとラフカット。前梁は下部にRが付くのでその分を斜めにカット。

I cut round part of the front beam with a fly-cutter. The setting of the bit of the fly cutter was not easy. I made it as follows. At first right side of the vice was set as origin by an edge finder.

R部分はフライカッターで削ることにしましたが、フライカッターの刃の位置の調整って結構面倒なんですね。こんな方法で行ないました。まずはバイスの端面の位置をエッジファンダーで出します。

Then I moved the X-axis by set radius + shim thickness(1mm). Push the bit against the shim and fix it.

X軸をフライカッター・セット半径＋1mm（シムの厚さ）右に動かします。フライカッターの刃をシムに押し付けて固定すればOK。

Round part was cut by the fly cutter.

フライカッターでR切削。

出来あっがった前梁です。

I wanted to fix end beams with hex bolts and mass produced them.

端梁は六角ボルトで取り付けたかったので大量生産。

前梁取り付け。

I also changed smoke box fixing bolts to hex.

ついでに煙室サドルのボルトも六角に替えました。
