I clean up small parts by spraying white spirits held in a strainer.

小物は茶漉しに入れてアルコールをスプレーして洗います。

Mounting positions of cylinder blocks and motion plates were masked by masking tape. I use only good quality masking tapes (Tamiya brand).

I masked wheel treads with masking sol, but it was not good idea I knew later. Removing masking sol was really hard.

I found smoke box caught lint and even brush hairs at rivets, etc. This kind of complicated parts must be check very carefully.

煙室のように引っかかるところが多い部品はよくチェックしないと思わぬところにケバが引っかかっています。リベットにはケバばかりか刷毛の毛も引っかかっていました。

Final etch primer application conditions are:

• Use 0.5mm nozzle on the airbrush
• Air pressure 4 Bar
• Thin the primer 10:6 (bit thinner may be better)
• Mix the primer very often in use
• Put only small amount of primer to the airbrush cup at a time
• Mix primer vigorously before putting to the cup
