I made the box from plywood. I found it was hard to get good quality plywood in Australia. All plywood sheets I saw at hardware shop were warped badly.

箱の本体は9mmのベニヤから作りますが、オーストラリアでは質のいいベニヤが手に入りません。えらく反ってる。とりあえず丸鋸で部品を切り出し。

Edges were straightened and right angled by this jig and a plane.

木端はこんなジグを作ってカンナ掛けした。

I made a jig to keep the parts under bonding in right angle. I used Titebond. It dries quickly, strong, and can be sanded. I never use ordinary PVA after using this stuff.

部材の接着の直角を出すためにこのようなジグを作った。なお、接着はTitebondを使った。乾燥も早く、強力。乾燥後はカンナ掛け、サンディングOKである。これを使い始めると一般のPVAは全く使う気がしない。

Since the plywood was warped, I used almost all means I had for clamping.

部材が反っているので手持ちのあらゆるクランプ手段を総動員した。
