I made rear sheet of the cabin. It would be better to make it hinged to give access to the cabin equipment. These 5X5mm brass bars were material of rear plate frame.

運転室の後板を作ります。運転、調整の利便性を考え、開閉式とすることにしました。これは5X5mmの真鍮角棒。フレームの材料です。

Both ends of the frame were rounded.

これの両端を丸めます。

Then middle part to be cut down to half.

丸め終わったフレーム材。この真ん中の部分を半分の厚さに削ります。

I checked the straightness of the bars and found they warped as I wondered. I straighten them with a vice.

切削途中に直線性を調べたら案の定ストレス解放のため反ってました。万力で直線に直します。

Finished frames. I cut one ends open by a jig saw.

機械加工終了したフレーム材。この後、一方の穴を糸鋸で開放します。

The frames were soldered to the plate. Open holes are seen on the left.

パネルにフレームを半田付け。左の穴が開いているのがわかりますね。

The rear plate was installed.

取り付けるとこのようになります。

It easily hinged away for maintenance.

片側の穴が開いているので整備時には簡単に開くことができます。
