Top of frameworks were flattened by a plane.

枠組み上面をかんなでほぼ平らにならします。

Some members were lower than others. They were collected by fixing thin plywood and planed.

へこんでいる梁には薄いベニヤを張り付け後、かんなで修正。

Top plates were fixed to framework by wood screws. I used two t16 MDF sheets. They were not bonded together. So they do not have the same rigidity as single t32 MDF.

t16MDFの天板をもくねじで固定。二枚重ねで32mm厚です。二枚のMDFは接着していなので32mmの剛性はありませんが。

Machine fixing holes of 10mm were drilled to the top plates. I kept the holes as right angle as possible by this way.
I do not why the wood drill did not work well against MDF at all. I used metal drill.

工作機械取り付け用の10mmの穴を天板にあけているところです。直角を出すためにこんな方法をとりました。
なぜか、木工用のドリルではMDFにまともに穴があかず、金工用を使用。

I hit my knee at the corner of the lower cross member. It was really hurt. So I decided round out the corners of lower cross member by a router. Also I rounded corners of top plates.

キャスター取り付け部の出っ張りで、膝を打ちました。見た目も良くないので角をラウターで落としました。天板の角もついでに落としてあります。

I added a shelf on the lower member, but it seemed so ugly.

下の梁のところにも棚板をつけることにしましたが、これではあまりにかっこが悪い。

So I added outer pieces. Now it seems much better.

外側部分を追加してみました。ずっとましに見えますね。

Assembly of benches finished.

旋盤用、フライス盤用とも生地完成です。
