To store tooling I made drawers. Outer frames were made from 16mm MDF. I made grooves at all connections.

付属のものが多いので、据え付け台に引出しをつけることにしました。16mmのMDFを枠組みに使用します。合わさるところはすべてラウターで溝を彫りました。

Assembly was quite easy with a help of grooves. The bottom plate was from 6mm MDF. All parts were bonded with “Titebond.”

溝を彫ってあるので簡単に組み立てられます。底板は6mmのMDF。すべてタイトボンドで接着。

I was making grooves for front and rear panels for lathe bench. I checked the width of grooves using of cut of MDF. The grooves must not too tight, or MDF may delaminate when the side panel drove in.

旋盤用の前後板に同時に溝を彫っているところです。MDFの切れはしで溝の幅を確認します。MDFは溝を硬くし過ぎると板を無理やり打ち込んだとき層状にはがれてしまいます。木材より緩めの溝に調整する必要があります。

The drawer for lathe was large and I added middle panel to keep strength.

旋盤用のはでかいです。強度確保に真中にも桟を入れました。

I installed the drawers using heavy duty three stage drawer slides.

二段伸縮の重負荷用引出しレールで据え付け台本体に取り付けます。

Both drawers finished. I painted outside later.

両方とも取り付け完了。後で外側だけ色を塗りました。
