肥薩線て言うと大畑が有名なんですが、真幸もなかなかいいものがありました。

これは朝一番の貨物列車、向こうに見えるのは霧島連峰。絶景であります。吉都線のC55の煙もかすかに見えますね。ここに来るにはうんざりするほど歩かなきゃいけなかったんですね。汽缶車の写真撮りも結構健康的な趣味だったわけです。

This was the first freight train in the morning. The Kirishima Range was seen over the basin. Really stunning view. Smoke seen in the basin was of C55 class on Kitto Line. This point was quite fur from the Masaki station. I walked every day to here. Railway photography was quite healthy hobby.

JNR D51 Class


上と同じ場所同じ列車ですが、もっと寒い季節ですね。蒸気だらけだな。これには吉都線のC55が写っていません。タイミングはなかなか合わなかったんですね。

This was the same train as above in colder season. Covered by steam. Smoke of C55 on Kitto Line was not seen here. It was hard to catch both trains in one shot.

真幸はスイッチバックだったので線路配置はかなりややこしいです。

Masaki station was a switch-back station and its track arrangement was bit complicated.
