In this photo 9600 class charged on main loco not a helper. I might forget there was this kind of operation of 9600 class. I remember only D51 class was used as main on Sekihoku Main Line, but my memory was wrong.

96の重連って運用もあったんだなー。この写真を見て初めて気がついた。

I completely forgot there was a train double headed by 96 classes.
