I extended straight parts from the yard. A tripod with elevator was used to level the track bed.

ヤードから左右に直線部分を延長していく。三脚のエレベータ機能を使って水平を出す。

The positions of mounting holes of the self support were marked. Then the support was fixed.

この状態で棚受けの穴位置を塀の柱に罫書き、取り付ける。

At above point two different types of the tracks are jointed. The support timber has a step to accept height difference of tracks. Right hand side is LGB club track and left side is hand laid track.

なお、上の写真の材木の上部はこのように段差になっている。これはこの部分で使用する軌框のタイプが変わるので高さの違いを吸収するためである。左がクラブレールと枕木、右がハンドスパイク。

Other side was also extended.

左側にも延長。

I hammered in a pipe for intermediate support, but I made a mistake. I saw only the head of driving jig an drove the pipe to far.

中間支えの鉄パイプを打ち込んだんだが、頭を潰さないように矢印の打ち込みジグを挿入して打ち込んだ。この時打ち込み深さをジグの頭で見てしまい少し深く打ち込みすぎてしまった。

I had to pull out the pipe a bit. I did not know how to do it. I managed it by temporarily fixing the beams to the pipe and using other pipe as a lever. I pulled it out about 30mm.

少しパイプを引きぬかなければならないんだが、どうすればいいか困ってしまった。結局、横梁をパイプにしっかり固定し、別のパイプを梃子に使ってなんとか引きぬくことができた。30mmほど引き抜いた。

Installed intermediate support.

設置完了した、中間支え。

The yard would be extended to the place of the intermediate support. So the support has the width for three track beds.

中間支えの所までヤードを延長するので中間支えは線路基板3枚分の幅がある。

Two sections were extended.

ここまでできた。

Unpainted track beds for the rest of yard were temporarily put. The yard will have length of about 4.8m and three tracks.

仮に未塗装の線路基板を置いてみるとこんな感じ。ヤード部分は3線で長さは約4.8mmとなる。
