I temporarily installed track joining parts.

接続部品を取り付けてみた。

Span of removable track is 1.5m.

取り外し部分の幅は1.5m。

Removable part mates to fixed parts like this.

取り外し部分はこのように乗るわけだ。

I used M6 bolts to fix track joining parts on removable part since large force may be applied to the parts.

可動側の金具にはかなり力がかかる。M6でボルトどめとした。

I forgot sleepers of the joining parts were much thinner than plastic sleepers and added hard wood spacer of 4.5mm thick.

接続金具の枕木がプラ枕木に比べてずっと薄いことを忘れていた。4.5mm厚の堅木でスペーサーを作った。

Few rails of the joining parts were deformed when silver-soldered. They were easily rectified by hitting by a rubber hammer.

銀ロウ付けの熱で曲がってしまったレールがあったがゴムハンマーで叩けば簡単に直る。

Finished removable part. I reduced the width of the track bed to 150mm to make it lighter. I may make a bridge to replace it in future.

完成した可動部分。少しでも重量を減らすため、道床幅は150mmとした。いずれは橋を作ろうと思うが当分はこのままだろう。

When using the pass simply lift off the removable part and put it on fixed track bed.

通路使用時はこのように外して固定部分に載せておけばOK。

Removing and attaching the removable part is quite easy. To attach simply put the removable track on the fixed parts and slide it to mate the rails and grooves. The rail alignment is perfect of course.

取り外し、取り付けはとても簡単。取り付けるときは可動部分のレールの先端を固定部分の枕木に載せてスライドさせればいとも簡単に固定される。当然レールのアラインメントも完璧である。この方式は大成功であった。
