My dog has grown up and is not naughty now. No digging any more. So I started the restoration of the layout. Too many weeds. Could not see the tracks.

うちの犬「メイ」もだいぶ落ち着いてきて、穴掘りをしなくなったので、懸案のレイアウト復旧工事を開始することにします。季節も冬になり作業しやすくなりました。それにしてもひどい状態ですね。どこに線路があるのやら。

I applied weed killer, and the hole digged by my dog appeared.

まず除草剤を撒いてあまりにひどい雑草を除去。怪獣メイに掘られた巨大な穴があらわになります。

I filled up the hole with blue metal dust.

穴は砕石の粉（こちらではブルーメタルサンドと言っている）で埋めました。

The platform made from foam concrete was quite damaged. It was broken at the middle. Also there were many chips and dents by hail storm.

発泡コンクリートのプラットホームの破損がひどいです。真中から真っ二つ。また雹によると思われる欠け、くぼみがあちこちに。

I cleaned up broken-out sections by a wire brush and bonded by waterproof wood adhesive. It seems too long to be one piece and may break in future.

割れた面をワイヤーブラシできれいにして、耐水性のボンドで接着します。もともと一体ものでは長すぎる気がするので、また割れるかもしれません。

Recently it has been bit wet in Sydney and mosses have grown on the foam concrete. They seem quite nice. I may work carefully not to damage the mosses.

最近雨が多いのでプラットホームのあちこちに苔が生えていました。いい感じだなー。苔にはできるだけダメージを与えないように修理をする予定です。
