All point motors did not work at all. I found lot of sand inside the motors.

ポイントマシンが全部動かなくなったいました。蓋を開けてみると、中は砂だらけ。動くわけありません。

Completely disassembled. I thought to remove sand by a brush, but it was too hard.

完全に分解しました。ブラシで掃除をしようと思いましたが、大変そうだなー。

So I decided to wash all parts by water.

ということで、水洗いすることに。

Two motor parts were washed leaving this amount of sand.

ポイントマシン二個洗っただけでこれだけ砂が出ました。

Sand may be found in recess like this. Careful cleaning is essential.

このようなへこみ部分にも砂が入り込んでいることがあるのでしつこく洗いましょう。

All parts should be completely dried up.

部品を乾燥中。

The rotors have a magnet inside. The relationship of magnet polarity mark and a boss on the rotor should be like this

ローターの中に磁石が入ってるんですが、これの極性を間違えないようにしなければなりません。矢印の突起の位置と磁石の赤の位置関係をこのようにします。

Place assembled yoke and rotor in the case with the boss at allowed position. Then place the rack lever at the most left position.

ケースに組み込む時は上記突起の位置をこのようにし、動作ラックを向かっていちばん左になるように組み付けます。

Test the assembled motor with 12~15VDC supply. If the polarity as show is applied the rack lever should move as allow. Test the opposite polarity also.

組み終わったらテストをしますが、直流１２〜１５Vをこの極性で加えて、動作ラックが矢印の方向に動けばOK。逆方向もテストします。
