Removing Plating

	I really hate gold-plated parts on LGB products. They are too shiny and look like toys. I tried to apply metal colour paint over the plating, but it came out too easily. I found a way to remove plating from plastic on some web site while ago. I will introduce the method. LGBの製品のハンドルや汽笛なんかに金メッキが施されていますが、やたら安っぽく光りすぎておもちゃの気分全開ですね。このメッキ私は大嫌いです。メッキの上に塗料を塗って見ましたがすぐ剥がれてしまいします。以前ネット見つけたプラメッキの剥がし方を紹介します。
	Simply immerse the plated parts in undiluted breach fluid. The plating will be dissolved in 5 minutes or so. Then wash the parts thoroughly. ブリーチの原液に浸けるだけです。メッキは5分くらいできれいに解けてしまいます。
	Plating is completely removed. ほらこんなにきれいに落ちました。
	I applied Gunze Metal Colour (Brass) on the parts. They seem much better now. グンゼメタルカラーのBrassを塗りました。LGBのメッキとは比較にならないくらいまともになりました。
