Steinzの左側動輪にはゴムタイアがついているため前輪とシューでの みでの集電となり ちょっと条件の悪い軌道だとよくとまってしまいます。
そこで第三のシューを写真のようにつけてみました。スプリン グは０．２ｔ燐青銅板 2枚重ねです。
走行性能は飛躍的に向上しました。
Power collection stability of Stainz is not very impressive because of its short wheelbase and rubber tyre on second wheel.
The stability of my Stainz is remarkably improved by adding third shoe as shown in the photos.
Springs of the shoe are two 0.2t phosphorus bronze plates.
