I cast resin in a very hot day (my work shop does not have air conditioner), the resin formed large amount of foam and rose as right sample. I thought it was caused by too quick reaction because of high temperature of resin. So I refrigerated resin and tried another shot. It worked well as shown on the left. I will store the resin in a fridge.

非常に暑い日に注型したところ（工作室にはエアコンがありません(^^;;）、右の物のようにレジンが発泡して、盛り上がってしまいました。これは、高い温度によりレジンの反応が加速され反応熱により発泡した物と思われます。そこでレジンを冷蔵庫で冷やしてから注型したところ左のように発泡はかなり抑えられました。今後レジンは冷蔵庫に保管する事にします。

Degraded resin that forms foam can be used to cast thin parts like this. In this case the capacity of resin is smaller comparing to its surface area to allow heat dissipation through mould and prevent acute heat accumulation in the resin.

発泡するようになってしまったレジンでもこの様な薄いものなら大丈夫です。体積より面積が大きいのでレジンに熱がこもらず、急激な昇温が起こらないためと思われます。

Basically bubbling of the resin is caused by moisture absorbed by the resin. This photo shows heavy bubbling when I mixed two-years-old resin to discard. Arrowed parts were bubbled.

基本的にレジンの発泡はレジンの吸湿によるものです。これは2年前に買ったレジンを廃棄するために混ぜあわせた物。凄まじい発泡をしています。矢印の部分が泡。
