I heard from one of my club members (Thanks, Tod.) that resin can be coloured. So I tried it. I bought a bottle of black pigment dedicated for resin. Only very small amount is required. In my case about a rice grain size for 10g resin. By changing the pigment amount the colour changes from grey to black. It is not suitable for complicated moulding because bubbles cannot be seen in coloured resin. However it would be quite effective for parts used under harsh conditions like wheels to prevent wearing off of paint.

レジンに色を付けられるというのを聞いたので試して見ました。レジンの色付け用のピグメントというやつです。黒を買って見ました。いれる量により黒から灰色まで変えられます。加える量はほんの少しでレジン10gに対して、米粒一つ分位でしょうか？これで左のような灰色になります。ただし色を付けると気泡が全然見えなくなるので、ややこしい型には使用不能です。気泡ができにくい単純な型で車輪みたいに塗装がはげやすいところには有効だと思います。
