I scribed the joints of weather board at first. However the pitch of the joints became slightly larger than the printout because of stretch of the printout when I glued it. The printout stretched about 4mm. I intended to match the joint pitch to the size of the side panel, but failed. Fortunately the stretch was about the same as the pitch and it could be managed. Next time the size of the side panel should be adjusted by scribed weather board.
I am good in scribing the weatherboard now and not so frustrated by this. I prefer hand scribed weatherboards to weatherboard styrene sheet on the market. Hand-scratched boards have some fluctuation in the pitch. Provably 1/f fluctuation. I think this fluctuation gives some comfortable feeling to the viewer. If I make weatherboard by laser cutting, I would like to put 1/f fluctuation to the pitch.
