Joints of end panels were scribed by parallel scriber.

妻板の板の継ぎ目をプラ罫引きで彫った。

By scribing, the panels curved nicely for outside use, but the curve is opposite for inside use. So I bent the panel on the vice groove by groove. This must be done very gently. Otherwise the panel may split at the groove.

外側用の板はスジ彫りをするといい具合に反るが、内側用の板は逆にそってしまう。これを修正するには万力に挟んで筋目ごとに逆に曲げていく。慎重にやらないと筋目で折れてしまう。

Finished end panels with details. The construction was much complicated than flat panels.

デテールを付け、出来上がった妻板組み立て。カーブしているのでなかなか面倒であった。

To make underfloor detail the body must be supported by some means. I used trucks for carriage no.1, but it would be risky concerning about damage of the trucks.? So I made body supports from MDF.

台車がないと床下の工作が進められないが、まだ作ってないのでMDFで台を作った。
