No.2 carriage has been mostly finished and I started making of No.3 carriage. I did not want to make the same one again and decided to make passenger and luggage combination based on No.2.

二号客車はほぼ生地完成となった。と言うことで、最後の客車を作り始めることにする。同じものは作りたくないので、2号客車を元にして客荷合造車とすることにした。

I was running out 5X5mm styrene rods in stock. Those materials are very expensive in Australia and I did not want to drive around looking for them. So I decided to make them by laminating 1.5mm styrene strips.

ところが5X5mmのスチロール材を使いきってしまい、あまり残っていない。買いに行くのもめんどうだし、オーストラリアではこの手の物はえらく高いので1.5mmのスチロール板を積層して作ってしまうことにした。

After lamination I machined to the size. So they have unnecessary accuracy.

貼りあわせた後にフライスで仕上げたので無駄に正確である。

Side panels were attached to the above beams.

側板を作り上記の角材に貼付け。

Assembled to box.

箱組。

End panel on luggage compartment side was made and fixed.

荷物室側の妻板を作り取り付ける。
