I cleaned out the carriage bodies by spraying methanol with this large spray gun wit pressure of about 5 Bar.

本体の洗浄はこの大型スプレーを使ってアルコールを５Barくらいで吹き付けることで行った。

Then I sprayed white primer, but it is not clear if the primer applied or not from this picture.

その後、白色のプライマーで塗装。もともと白のスチロールなの塗ったのがわからん。

After applying the primer defects were more visible. I rectified them with wet 1200 grit sand paper.

プライマーを塗ると不完全部分がよく分かるようになるので、水研ぎで修正。１２００番の耐水ペーパーを使用。

I made up body colour of green. I mixed deep green and white of Tamiya acrylic as 4:3. Lighter colour may be better

いつものタミヤ・アクリルで車体色の緑を調製。ディープ・グリーンと白を４：３で混ぜた。もう少し白が多いほうが良かったかもしれない。３両分なので大量に作った。

Other body colour is cream or light yellow. I made a mistake here. I mixed white into yellow. It was wrong, and I could not get the colour I wanted easily. I had add lot of white paint. Yellow should be added to white.

もう一つの車体色クリーム色というかライトイエロー調製。ここで大失敗。レモンイエローに白を入れていったんだが、なかなか希望の色にならない。白が弱すぎるのだ。白に少しづつ黄色を足すべきであった。

I painted interior at first with green then painted around window with yellow. Over sprayed green contaminated the outside and it was not easy to cover green with yellow since covering of yellow was quite week. I should remove unwanted green by wet sandpaper.
I sprayed the paint with 1 Bar pressure, but it would be too high and I could not get enough paint at corners. 0.5 Bar gave better result.

まずは車内を緑に塗り、窓まわりをクリームに塗装する。内側に塗った緑が窓の周囲に付き、カバー力の弱いクリームではなかなか消せなかった。水研ぎで緑を消すべきであった。

初めは1Barでスプレーしていたが、強すぎたようだ。塗料が隅に廻らない。タミヤ・アクリルの場合0.5Barぐらいがいいようだ。

Yellow parts were masked.

クリームの部分をマスキング。

Masking around gutter down spouts was a nightmare.

雨とい周りのマスキングは地獄である。
