	I like oil paint. So I applied Sculpey Graze to seal them. According to the Sculpey web site, it is necessary to apply graze 2 or 3 times if using paint other than water-based acrylic. The object on the left is a passengers luggage. 私は油絵の具が好きなのでSculpey専用のシール塗料で下塗りをします。Sculpeyのサイトによると水性アクリル以外の塗料を使うときはこれを2，3回塗るように指示がありました。左の物体は行商のおばさんの荷物のつもりです。
	To make painting by oil paint easier and seeing surface conditions clearer, I sprayed Tamiya acrylic colour “Desert Yellow”. Here I found a problem on the ticket collector on the most right. I used translucent clay on this and found it was very difficult to see the surface condition while I was modelling it. After spraying it with Tamiya colour, many flaws were revealed. I tried to sand them out but found the Sculpey Graze to be very soft and sanding was impossible. In the end, I had to remove them by tweezers. Never use translucent clays. 油絵の具ののりをよくするためと表面の状態を見やすくするため、タミヤカラーのつや消しデザートイエローを吹き付けます。ここで大問題発見。一番右の改札係の服に半透明の粘土を使ったのですが、粘土のままでは表面の状態がよくわかりませんでした。つや消しを吹いた時点で、いろいろ問題が露呈。修正するためにやすりをかけたところ、専用シール塗料の塗膜が柔らかく毛羽立ってしまいました。決して半透明の粘土を使ってはいけません。表面の状態のよくわかるものを使いましょう。
	I wanted to have somebody to wear glasses. I bought this kit intending to use it in my layout. However, these figures do not match to the age of my rolling stocks. So it has been on my shelf for years. 誰かにめがねをかけさせようと思いつきました。以前レイアウトで使おうと思って買ったこんなキットがあります。1/24の学生さん人形。でも、年代が合わないのでほったらかしに。
	And I remembered this kit included a jig to make a pair of glasses. I made a frame with 0.2mm copper wire. Eventually I used only this jig in the kit. この中にめがねを作るジグが入っていたのを思い出しました。このジグを活用して0.2mmのメッキ銅線でめがねの枠を作ります。このキットで使ったのはこのジグだけか。
	The glasses were painted black with Tamiya colour and were dipped in the Sculpey Graze. Excess was removed with a brush. After they were dried, the lenses turned out to be reasonably good. I might give these to the high school student. 黒く塗って、上記のシール塗料に漬け、乾いた筆で余分の塗料を吸い取って乾かすとまあまあなレンズになりました。中学生人形にでも付けるつもりです。
