I have a bad tendency to make figures too large, especially make limbs too long. I decided to cut limbs of figures under construction shorter. Cut the limbs by a fine saw and cut them down as required. Joint the cut limbs by 1mm cupper sire Liquid Sculpey applied. The gaps to be filled with Scupley.

どうも、私が作ると人形の手足が長くなりすぎるようです。で、作りかけの人形の手足を短く改造する事にしました。手足を必要なだけ切り詰めて、1mmの銅線をLiquid Sculpyを塗って埋め込み、継ぎ目はSculpeyで埋めます。

The legs of the figure seem much shorter now and he seems much more Japanese. His scale hight is 170cm and still bit too high as an average Japanese male. He supposed to be smoking on a platform. Really I hate smoking habit, but it was and still is common in Japan. The old lady on the right was made to carry the “Bamboo Basket”.

脚がだいぶ短くなって日本人らしい体形になりました。これでもまだ、スケールで170cm。ちょっと大きすぎか？一応ホームでタバコをすってるって事にする予定です。私はタバコが大嫌いですが、年代を考えるとタバコ吸いがいるのもしょうがないでしょう。以前作った竹篭をしょわせる行商の婆さんも作りました。こちらも手足が長すぎたので脚は縮めましたが、手は無理なのでそのままです。
