This is the miniature of my camera used to use for railway photos, Canon FT. I made it from pieces styrene. We need many cameras since three photographers on board.

約1/20の管理人のかつての愛機Canon FTのミニチュアである。スチローで適当に作った。鉄チャンが3人も乗ってるんだからカメラもたくさんいるのである。

Lenses were cut out from 5mm styrene rod. The hood parts were cut down by 3mm end mill. The diameter of the hoods are about 3.5mm.

5mmのスチロール棒から削りだしたレンズ群である。フードの部分は3mmのエンドミルでさらってある。フード部分の径で3.5mmくらい。

The camera bodies were resin casted. Lengths of the lenses are all different.

出来上がったカメラ群。カメラボディーはレジンで複製した。ちなみにレズ長は全て違う。

I made a camera with brass lens.

レンズ部分を真鍮にしたカメラも作った。

This is used to fix the position of hands while baking. Obviously styrene lenses will be molten while baking.

これは手のポーズを決めながら焼くために作った。スチロールでは当然焼くときに溶けてしまう。

Railway photographers then had to carry around a gadget bag. The core of the bag was made from crumpled foil.

鉄ちゃんは当然ガジェット・バッグを持ち歩いているので作ることにした。アルミ・フォイルを丸めて芯を作る。

The core was covered by clay, but the edges were quite dull.

これを粘土で包むわけだが当然角が出ない。

I improved the edges by adding small strings of clay.

角っこに丸めた粘土を追加してできるだけ角が出るようにしてみた。

It was too hard to have sharp edges by clay and I compromised with this.

まあ、当然粘土であるのでこの程度しか角は出なかった。

Detailed gadget bag. I want to reproduce it with resin moulding, but the carrying strips will prevent it.

ディールをつけ出来上がったガジェット・バッグ。レジンで複製したいところであるが、取手のところとか難しいかもしれない。
