I made a battery box from styrene sheets. I could not find any battery box in the photos of the prototype. However it must have a battery somewhere and I want to hide the dummy engine as much as possible, since making of detailed dummy engine does not seem easy. If the dummy engine is hid by underframe equipment it is not necessary to make detailed dummy engine.

電池箱をスチロールで製作。実物の写真には電池箱が見当たらないのですが、電池がないわけはない。ダミーエンジンは細かく作るのが面倒そうなので、できるだけ床下機器で隠してしまう方針です。

I could not find any good prototype photo with air compressor shown clearly. However I found a photo of a compressor of other type of a gasoline car and make it based on the photo. The crankcase is made from a cluster of 5X5mm styrene square rods. The cylinder head will be cut out from 2mm thick styrene sheet. The fins of the cylinder are made from 0.5mm and 0.75mm styrene sheets. Six of resin moulded fins will be stuck together.

次はコンプレッサー。難物ですがエアタンクがあるんだからコンプレッサーをつけないわけには行きません。コンプレッサーの写っているプロトタイプの写真は見つからなかったので、ネットで見つけたほかのガソリンカーの写真から適当につくることにします。クランクケースは5ｍｍＸ5ｍｍのスチロール角材を4本束ねて材料とし。シリンダーヘッドは1ｍｍのスチロール板を2枚張り合わせた物から削りだすことにしました。シリンダーのフィンは0.5ｍｍと0.75ｍｍのスチロール板から左のように作り、複製した物を6枚重ねます。

Finished crankcase. Fins will be put on two rods. This compressor may be used in later project. So I decided to make moulding.

完成したクランクケース。2本の棒のところにフィンをさして行きます。このコンプレッサー後で使えるかもしれないので複製を作ることにします。
