I brush-painted small parts with resin primer.

小物はレジン用のプライマーを筆塗りしました。

Paint interior at first. It is quite difficult. Airbrushed through windows. I will paint interiors with two different colours, light green and brown.

まず内装から塗ります。非常に塗りにくいです。窓からエアブラシを吹いたりととても大変です。内部色は薄緑と茶色の二種類にする予定。

I wiped out over-sprayed interior colour by cotton tips with alcohol.

外側にもれちゃったところは、アルコールを付けてア綿棒でふき取っておきます。

I applied double-sided tapes to the bases of window bars fro the luggage car. After painting they can be easily installed at the position by just removing back paper.

荷物車の窓の格子は塗装前に両面テープを貼り付けておきます。塗装後裏紙を剥がせば簡単に取り付けられます。下が塗装完了時。

Roofs are painted by Tamiya colour “German Grey”.

Then I applied wash fluid. The wash fluid is very thinly diluted oil paints by turpentine . Just make dirty colour from several colours.

その後、油絵の具の黒、イエローオーカー、バーントシエナ、ローアンバーなんか適当な量をテレピン油でしゃぶしゃぶに薄めて、ウォッシュ液を作り屋根に塗ります。

The wash fluid gives the roofs good amount of glossiness and some weathering.

これで適度な艶と汚れた感じが出て、防水キャンバス張りらしくなります。
