I made a jig to position the handrails by filing down a 3mm round styrene rod and marked it at 2.5mm thickness. Handrails can be positioned accurately with this.

手すりの位置決めにようにジグを作りました。3mmのスチロール丸棒の片面をテーパーに削り2.5mmになるところにマークを付けた物です。正確に手すりの出っ張りを決められます。

The positions of the door handles were too close to the door edges at Carriage No.2. I made the handles crooked. At first I annealed 1mm brass wire and bent them in the shape shown on the left. Then handle parts were squashed flat and shaped.

At last all the carriages were finished. Interior of Carriage No.4, luggage for Carriage No.3 and figures are yet to be done.

弐号客車のドアハンドルが端に近すぎたので、ハンドルの型を曲がったものにする事にしました。まず、1mmの真鍮線を焼き鈍してから左のように曲げ、ハンドルになる部分をたたいてつぶし整形しました。

これで一応全車完成。あとは四号客車の内装、荷物車の荷物、人形を作らなければなりません。人形はかなりたくさん要りますね。
