I assembled steps. I stack 100 grit sandpaper to simulate slip-proof material.

I filled recesses at interlocking by putty.

段差が大きいのでパテで埋めておいた。

I painted the truck by rust-colour primer and Tamiya acrylic German Grey.

台車部分は錆色のプライマーを吹きてけ、タミヤアクリルのジャーマングレーで塗った。

Surface condition was not great even I applied wood putty. Wood grains were so obvious.

その結果であるが、パテで埋めたにもかかわらず木目がえらく目立つ。

The parts without putty had very visible grains.

パテ埋めしなかった裏はというと凄まじい木目である。

I decided to fill the grains on the parts that should not have grains with sanding sealer.

木目が出てはまずいところはサンディングシーラーで更に埋めることにした。

The equaliser parts of the truck were also applied with sanding sealer and wet sanded.

台車のイコライザー部分もサンディングシーラーを数回塗り水研ぎ、塗り直した。
