妻面に板張りをいます。

On a glass surface plate I evened out the upper part by sandpaper.

ガラス定盤の上にサンドペーパーを敷いて車体上面を平らにする。

I added 0.6mm planking material to the roof using the body as a template.

屋根に車体を載せて、0.6mm厚のプランキング材を車体の周りに貼り付ける

Both ends of the roof were formed.

屋根の端部を整形。

I think it is reasonably good.

I covered the roof with Japanese paper as usual.

いつものお約束、障子紙を貼る。

It is not clear, but paper was applied. The curvature of the roof was easy and the paper can follow the contour without any cutting.

あまりよくわからんが、障子紙を貼った状態。カーブが緩いので切り込みを入れる必要はなかった。

Down side of the roof. I would finish the planks with varnish.

裏側。プランキング材のところはニス仕上げにする予定。
