I made a mandrel to hold the work from silver steel.

ドリルロッドでこのようなヤトイを作った。右は切り出した部材。

The work was soft-soldered to the mandrel for turning.

部材をヤトイにハンダ付けし旋盤に咥える。

About the half of the work was rounded.

約半分を丸くする。

The work was shaped with files.

ヤスリで整形。

Inside of the groove was cleaned up with a nail file.

溝の中は爪やすりで綺麗にした。かみさんには内緒で使用。

Finished joint. M1X3 screw would be used as hinge pins.

完成した関節。M1X3のネジで止める。

Four joints were finished.

4個完成。
