I replaced the stack with straight type. As you see the mounting methods of old and new ones are totally different. Power to the smoke generator of straight type is fed though the metal pipe and contact (arrow) at the end of the stack assembly.

煙突は上の標準のものから下のストレートタイプに換えてあります。見てわかるとおり取り付け方法が全く違います。また、発煙装置への給電は金属パイプと、ねじ端の接点（矢印）により行われます。

The cylinder block parts need holes to accept metal pipe part of the stack.

まず、パワートラックについているシリンダーブロック部品のの矢印の部分に煙突のねじ部分が通る穴を開けます。

The stack will be installed as this. The power contact of the stack is fed via “power feeding rod”, and 0.4mm phosphorus bronze spring.

煙突を通すとこんな感じになります。発煙装置接点への給電は給電棒0.4mm燐青銅板のばねを介して行います。

Frame parts that cover the power truck are fitted with power feeding contact springs. Part “A” makes a contact or Part “A” in above picture.

上記にパワートラックにかぶさる台枠部品に発煙装置への給電部品を付けます。"A"部が上記"A"部に接触します。

Contact part “C” will contact to metal pipe part of the stack.

"C"部は煙突の金属パイプ部に接触します。
