The shaft hole jig I made before was from styrene. After a couple of time of use the hole of the jig enlarged. So this time I made new jig from brass plate.

以前作った軸受け穴あけジグはスチロールだったんで2〜3回使ったら穴が拡がって使い物にならず。真鍮で作りなおすことにしました。

Holes on the axle boxes were made using pin vice. The insulation tape on the drill bit was to set the depth of the holes. l

軸受けに穴を開けます。ドリルのテープは穴深さ規制用。

Axles are from 3mm brass rods. Both ends turned smooth by drill press.

車軸は3mmの真鍮棒を切って、両端をボール盤+やすりで仕上げます。

To fix wheels to axle I made sallow grooves to allow CA to invade between wheels and axle by jigsaw.

車輪を車軸に固定するとき隙間がなくて瞬接がまわらないので糸鋸で車輪に少し切れ目と入れておきます。

Set one set of axle boxes right angle to the frame. Then set next ones parallel checking by a vernier.

軸受けは一組を車体に直角に取り付け、残りは軸受けに入れた軸の平行をノギスでチェックして固定します。

Mass produced.
