We visited Chiemsee (Lake Chiem) to see a palace of famous crazy King Ludwig II who made Neuschwanstein Castle.
When we arrived at the lake late in the afternoon, I saw narrow gauge track. I looked for locomotives and found one shown on the left.
What is this? Broody hell!! This is a fake steam loco with diesel engine.
I was really disappointed.

気違い王様として有名なルードヴィッヒ２世の宮殿を見にドイツのチーム湖に行きました。夕方湖に到着してみるとなんとナローのレールがあるじゃないですか。
機関車を探してみます。な、なんじゃこりゃー。ディーゼルのかっこを変えただけのいかさまではないか。 がっかりもいいところだ。

However next day I found a real steam loco working.
Close look revealed this steam-tram like loco was modified Stainz! She was built in 1887 by Krauss.

次の日、宮殿のある島に渡るために湖に行ってみるとなんと本物の蒸気機関車がいました。1887年のクラウス製です。
しかもよくよく見ると驚いたことに、このスティームトラムみたいな代物はStainzの改造版だったのです。 右のは偽物です。
