I started to extend the track to the left hand side. There was a large pine tree around this position and must be roots remaining. As I worried the 1m pole only did not go over this point. It is not enough depth, but I had no idea what to do and gave it up just replace the pole with 80cm one.

向かって左側にも線路を伸ばしていく。この部分は以前に松の大木があり根が残っているはずである。心配していたとおり1mのポールを打ち込むとここで止まったしまった。打ち込み深さは充分ではないんだが仕方がないので80cmのポールに交換した。

Next location was even harder to drive the pole. I had to cut out the top of the pole. If there come any problem I will fix the pole with concrete.

次のところはもっと入らない。この下には松の切り株があるはずだ。諦めてポールの上部を切断した。問題があれば後で根元にコンクリートを流し込もうと思う。

I kept extending the track.

道床をどんどん伸ばしていく。

Around a lime tree pole seemed hit the root again.

ライムの木のそばでまた入らない所が出てきた。根があるようだ。

I had to search good location for pole driving. I found soft part about 15cm off planned location. I would design track beds after searching soft location.

ポールが入るところを探すしかない。15cmほどずらしたところに打ち込むことが出来た。この後は木の近くでは打ち込める場所を探してから道床を設計することにした。

It was revealed that paint on the track bed and support stick together after tightening. It is much better to have easy removal of the track beds for maintenance. I applied wax on the surface of the support. I do not know it works or not.

なお、道床板とサポートをネジ止めすると双方の塗装がくっついてしまうことが判明した。将来のメンテを考えると簡単に分解できたほうがいいのでサポートに蝋を塗ってみた。効くかどうか分からないが。

Curved part of left hand side was almost finished. Existing layout is seen on the left. The layout is almost a ruin since I could not work on it for a while.

左側のカーブ部分はほぼ完了した。左側に見えるのが既設のレイアウト。事情により手入れがしばらく出来なかったので今は廃墟状態になっている。

This part is to be connected to a removable part. I have still not decided how to make the removable part with easy removal and reinstallation.

この後は通路部分の取り外し可能な道床を作らなければならない。どういう構造にしたら簡単に取り外しが出来るか考える間、工事はしばらく休止です。
