The gutters are finished by adding 1X2mm strips 0.5mm upper. The bottom edge of the strips are filed out at about 45 degree. It can be made easily by file a edge of sheet then, cut strip out by a parallel scriber.

下側を斜めに削った１X2mmのスチロール帯を0.5mm上にずらせて接着し雨樋は完成です。下を斜めに削ったスチロール帯は板材の状態で斜めに削り、その後２mm幅にプラけびきで切り出しました。ドアの上は４mm幅で少し高くなっています。

Next step is making of truss bars. I made truss bar posts by 2X2mm brass square rod. The recesses that accommodate truss bars are cut by a hacksaw at first and shaped by fine round file.

次にトラス棒を作ります。まず、トラス棒受けにする2X2mmの真鍮角線にトラス棒を受ける溝を掘ります。カナノコで切れ込みを入れ、1.6mm径の極細やすりで丸く仕上げました。

Solder end brackets (0.5X3.5mm brass) to truss bars. Shape it and drill 1mm hole.

1.5mm真鍮線のトラス棒の端には3.5X0.5mmの真鍮帯板を半田付け。整形して１mmの穴を開けておきます。

Bent truss bars are soldered to the posts.

トラス棒を曲げてトラス棒受けに半田付け。強度優先でたっぷり流しました。

Temporarily assemble the truss bars, and drill 1mm holes at the position of the end brackets. The holes to be enlarged to 2mm later.

仮組みして、トラス棒端部の車体側取り付け穴を現物あわせで開けておきます。車体側の穴は後で２mmに拡大。

Enlarge holes in the end brackets and solder 2mm brass pins.

トラス棒端部も穴を２mmに拡大し２mmの真鍮線を半田付けします。

Add turnbuckles at the centre of the truss bars and attach them to the body. They fixed by the holes in the body and quite robust.

真ん中にターンバックルを入れて車体に取り付けます。トラス棒の端も受けも車体の穴にさしこむようにしたので、とても丈夫です。
